Hello all,
First off I am new to this forum so I need lots of help. I am a freshman in college and I'm buying a 94 Teg LS Sedan. I was looking at a budget of 10-12K over the next 4-5 years. I want around 300 WHP and I'm looking to keep the exterior "Q" (stock). My biggest reason for that is b/c a lot of cops pull cars that are modded hard on the exterior. Can anyone out there give me somewhat of a parts list or suggestions that will help me out....All advice I much appreciated.

lower it and ad a front lip. cops wont pull you over for that unless they are real dicks lol then just slowly build up the enigne man start with bolt on mods and then work you way into internals. good thing about workin over a long period of time you have alot of time to learn everything lol and welcome lol

I'm not completely sure as of right now if I'm going to run NA or FI. In fact im not completly sure of the diffrence (if you don't mind explaning). But i was wondering if i could do a drop in w/ a any B-series engine or if i need to swap out the transmission as well

The difference between FI and NA is how the power is generated, FI is short for Forced Induction, which gives you the option of super or turbocharging your motor. NA is Naturally Aspirated, which means that the power is acheived naturally through internal and bolt on modifications.

and you can drop in any b series motor, but you may decide to upgrade to a stronger tranny if you do have that much power going through. probably to a type R transmission

I will end up driving the car A.S.A.P. I was just wondering How much would $3,000 get me for mount ons to the stoke motor and internals. I might to an Engine Swap once Finances obligations are set…..

With $3k at your disposal, I'd drop $1k -$1200 into a decent coilover setup, then start with intake, intake mani, header, exhaust, do a clutch, lightweight flywheel to start. Possibly drop in a set of cams, but since your thinking about a possible motor swap later on I'd leave it with that for now, or keep some of that $ and save it towards a swap.

Welcome. Since you want 300whp, the easiest way to get there is by turbocharging. Try using the search button. It will do you wonders...

yeah drop it first, or you will constantly hear everyone here say "DROP THAT SHIZ,!!"

lol

Its not really about the "drop" its about having a suspension setup that will handle the power output. You put 300whp through stock suspension components and it wont feel like 300hp, and you'll likely have a nasty case of wheel hop.
