Turbo Vacuum line running................ ?? And Resistor Box wiring.............. ??

First off, I tried looking through like, 15 pages of Google search, and didn't find anything helpfull @ all... I just wanna know for knowledge's sake. :D My buddy with a 94 Integra RS is thinking of going turbo, after wasting all sorts of money on I/H/E, etc. Might buy my kit, not sure yet. And i'd like to know how you're supposed to run everything for future reference and knowledge's sake.........

Okay, so I know that there's a vacuum line going from an EWG (external wastegate) to the fitting either on or near the compressor, and then there's the line going from the BOV's fitting to any convienient line (T'd off) on the IM plenum. Then, you've got another nipple fitting on the top of the EWG that supposedly goes to a Boost Controller; (which hass TWO fittings on itself) one is inlet, where does the other fitting go to? And also, what about a JacksonRacing FMU? How do you hook that up? I've got one laying around. I thought it was an adjustable FPR, but my buddy said it's an FMU.

Thanks for your knowledge!

Oh, almost forgot. How do you wire-in a resistor box for use with the DSM 450cc injectors? And is there any modification to the DSM injectors required for fitment? I read somehwere that the DSM bluetops had to be modified or something. The DSM 450's I've got aren't blue though. I think it's out of a 2G 4G63-t and they are black. (blacktop???)

Any links to installs will be greatly appreciated!

:thumbs up

edit- My main question now is, how do I wire-in an JacksonRacing FMU, and the boost controller? The boost controller has two fittings. One is for the inlet (coming from the 2nd nipple fitting on the EWG) and then where does the other fitting go to??
Thanks!

it's a Turbo XS.... MBC....

see how it's got two fittings...

the FMU installation sounds easy enough, but that DSM install is confusing. so basically you need to bore out the seal a little bigger so the injector will fit properly? and normally you want to buy the whole set in case you F one up or something? well, the injectors I got from my buddy are missing one of those seals anyway....

One is the inlet from a pressure source such as the compressor housing or charge pipe. The other goes out the wastegate.

I thought the other wastegate line goes to the compressor housing or a close charge pipe? would I need a T or something to get both of them connected to the same spot?

For a manual boost controller, it is best to leave that top port on the WG alone. Just run a vacuum/pressure source line to the MBC then out to the bottom port of the WG. Make sure the MBC is pointed the correct way or the WG will never open

The top port is best left for electronic boost controllers

oh okay, so thats why theres a dead-end plug on one of the lines

Are you talking about on the wastegate?

Both nipples on the MBC are used. The inlet receives boost pressure and the outlet routes it to the WG.

You don't even have to plug the top port of the WG.

Yeah I was. Okay I drew out a diagram, this is how it should go right?

forgot to label it. the black circle next to the turbine is a EWG

yeah, those are the same injectors I would get. I can get blacktop (2G DSM) 450's for $40 though...
DSM 450cc are cheap as hell. All DSM owners upgrade so they are a dime a dozen. Hell I have 2 sets in my garage somewhere...lol

Evo 3 (yellow top) injectors are fairly easy to get ahold of as well. They are the same as DSM injectors, just 510cc
