Hi everyone! I just bought my first Integra (finally!) back in August of this year. I've always wanted one, and then my next requirement for the one I'd buy would be that it was a manual, because I figured no one was really going to teach me on their car, so the only way to learn was to buy myself one and do it the whole "crash course" way. Luckily, I was a fast learner, or something, because people that NEVER thought I'd be able to drive one have told me that I'm way better than they expected and better than most people. Anyway, personal accomplishment for me. On to my car....it's a 1999 Acura Integra LS 2DR Coupe. It has HID headlights (which I love), a good sound system, and it SOUNDS good. It's pretty basic. The kid who had it before me had a sub in it and all kinds of crazy wiring that I took out as soon as I bought it, because I wasn't sure what was up with the wires and I didn't have the sub anymore so it didn't make sense. It's got a short shifter and I have the factory wheels on it. I love this car. I treat it like my baby. I plan on doing a few minor things to it, but nothing drastic. My friends all know about cars, so I joined this site to try to teach myself so I know more about my car and don't just come off as some stupid girl.

Hopefully that picture works. This was taken in Oct back home in PA (currently at school in OH). Since then I've gotten a new front bumper (I got t-boned over Thanksgiving break so I got a whole bunch of new parts done to it). But the new front bumper is good, so the scrapes are gone!

Woah long post. Sorry guys =( I'm afraid to make any other posts and appear like I don't know anything (which I probably really don't)...so yeah. Hi =)

Oh..I found out what things it has done to it:
HR Springs
Koni Yellow Struts
Greddy Header
Apexi WS2 Exhaust
Ram Air Intake & K&N Filter

thanks everyone! and maybe they did just tell me that because i'm a girl. but i've ridden in cars with people (erm, BOYS) and i am like SHIFT YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG. Ah, well. Whatever. And it is really clean =) It needed waxed when I bought it, but it really made it look nice after I got that done to it. It's clean inside too. And in the engine bay. Well, not as clean as my Focus was but one day it will be!

Not too much. It's got a good exhaust on it (I'll find out details on what kind it is later, too cold right now!). And it's got HID head lights. It's lowered, which I can't decide if I want to keep on it or not. I'm scared I'll hit a curb or something. I'd like to put a carbon fiber hood on it. I kinda wanna turbo it, but I don't know if that's cool or not. But other than that, no serious mods. I know it's not very fast, but I still would love to try doing auto cross or something in it (one friend races Integra's and I'm begging for him to take me along for fun sometime, and another friend does auto cross races...I just think it would be fun to try!) Otherwise....that's it. The power door locks stopped working, so that's the next "to-do" item on my list.

Before you start going mod crazy, it would be a good idea to do some research. Really sit down and think about what you want to do, then go for it. Since you're interested in autocrossing, I suggest you try it out a few times. Without any mods. Then you'll see how you'll want to set your car up.

Okay so you have some simple clean things done already....yea it def. looks it good lowered...carbon fiber hood would look hot...you shuld def. turbo it you'll def. being going alot faster it wuld we worth it! :) Yea I've been wanting to try autocross i def. seem like good atmosphere and I'm sure it would be fun to try!

keep it lowered you just got be carefull for curbs and bumps...but i guess if u live somewhere the whole city has bumps everywhere you might was to take half and inch off if there coilevers and if not maybe take it off...what kind of suspension you got?
