New Girl

Well, I don't want to like really autocross it -- for now. I just want to try it once just to say I've done it. And if I like it, then eventually when I get a different car, I'm going to keep this one and have it be my "fun" car. I don't want to do anything insane to it, or expensive, because I am in college right now and need to keep it reliable, at least for two more years.
My boyfriend and one of my best friends (the one who races his Integras) are both very knowledgeable individuals about cars, so I would never make (or be allowed) to make a call without their opinion/help first. Especially since they'd be the ones who would end up doing most of the work.

Okay so you have some simple clean things done already....yea it def. looks it good lowered...carbon fiber hood would look hot...you shuld def. turbo it you'll def. being going alot faster it wuld we worth it! Yea I've been wanting to try autocross i def. seem like good atmosphere and I'm sure it would be fun to try!

keep it lowered you just got be carefull for curbs and bumps...but i guess if u live somewhere the whole city has bumps everywhere you might was to take half and inch off if there coilevers and if not maybe take it off...what kind of suspension you got?

I like how it looks lowered, but I live in an area that's crazy bumpy. And I'm worried about driving it lowered in the snow too. I bought stock springs for it, I just don't know if/when I'll put them on. I'm not sure of the name of the suspension, I think it begins with a "K" (hah, that's bad, I know).

And autocrossing just looks so FUN! I think it'd be worth it to just try it once! I'm saving up for the carbon fiber hood, so hopefully I can get that by summer at least. And I LOVE to go fast, so the turbo is probably in the car's future. I love the way they sound...sooo...we'll see!

I can't go back to automatic's now! Driving a stick is WAY better and I'm kickin' myself for not learning sooner!

please dont go back to stock height, when you find out what springs you got on there, u can find out the drop on them and then get springs with less of a drop, but dont go back to stock

Well, I don't plan on doing anything special with it, it's just my every day car, so I need it more for that then to look "cool" or whatever. It's currently got HR Springs & Koni Yellow Struts on it.

It has H&R Springs and then Koni Yellow Struts on it.
And another thing I thought about, was that having it lowered here isn't so bad, because it's all flat. But back home in PA it's terrible hills, and especially where I live there's lots of "fun" little up and down bumps in roads, and the bumper always would scrape on it and I just got the new front bumper so I'd really rather not mess that up just yet, ya know?

trust me, i LOVE it lowered. I just would -hate- to mess up the bumper because of all the little bumpity bumps that PA has to offer me. and pot holes. and everything else.
Maybe one day when I officially move somewhere flat, I'll lower it again. I just don't want to go messing it up.
