interesting...do you mean from the window cowel side or the hood hinge before the radiator

There should be 2 bolts on each side where the hinge bolts to the hood ( close to each side of the windshield)

you dont take the hood off to paint it and it was like that before

Well it was kind of a half-assed paint job anyways..no offense to you Danish, but I don't like just exterior resprays. Its more thorough(and better) when they take the car apart(hood, hatch, doors, engine) and also paint the engine bay and door jambs.

I took no offense ^_^ . I just wanted the outside to look nice I could car less on what my engine bay and everything looks like I'm not taking it to a car show. Also for what I paid for it I got a pretty damn good paint job.

If its any help to you, I adjusted my hood like they said about loosening the bolts on by the radiatior support on the hood hinge and lowering it, and now my hood sits flush.
