Well I bought my car from a guy who rebuilt it from a wreck and I bought it only because it was only $400 and it ran almost perfectly. I recently noticed after painting it and fixing the fenders my sister trashed and noticed that my hood sits slightly crooked and looks a little bit raised up. Any ideas on whats goin on???

Here's a pic, I will have a better one up later.

hood might be bent, latches might be bent, hinges might be bent...

I think whoever painted it should have noticed a bend somewhere tho.

I didn't find any adjustment tabs... :???:

I finally got a better picture of my hood. You can't really see that it's crooked, but that's not a huge concern because it's not real obvious. I would just like to know if anybody has any more suggestions on what might possibly be wrong.

are all the parts OEM? if they are then something is seriously wrong. if they are not then there is still some thing seriously wrong. something is differently bent.

I'm not quite sure on the parts because like I said it's a rebuild from a wreck. Do you have any ideas on what might be bent.

If you loosen the bolts holding the hood to the hinges you can shift the hood slightly to straiten it out. just remember that a litle bit of movement goes a long way in adjusting the hood.
