Tough Luck. Honda's sound ricey. Period. LOL......

Best thing you can do is get a 2 1/4" CBE with a Quiet muffler. I've got an old-school GReddy muffler in my garage...... That muffler is so effing quiet for being a straight-through muffler. It's big-bodied so it has plenty of space to muffle the sound. Only problem is, it's huge. Probably like 8" around at the muffler. Either a 3 or 4" tip. Can't remember. If you are lowered, it will probably scrape, unless Integra's have plenty of space above the muffler to tuck it.

^^^This is for being N/A. Is you're going boosted, get any ol muffler and any size piping above 2 1/4". I've personally seen and heard boosted Hondas and they sound mean and deep like you want. Like previously said, the turbo acts like a muffler sort-of.

Simple answer to a non-ricey exhaust is... A chambered or twin-loop exhaust. And no, turbos don't act as mufflers.

I would think a giant fan in the middle of your exhaust system would muffle. Sure it doesn't have holes and muffling, but it displaces the gases or something. I honestly am not sure how it works, but it does. Like I said, I've personally heard Honda's turbo'd with full straight piped 3" exhausts, and they sound nice and deep and not loud at all. Barely above stock levels.

Actually, the simple answer is= Stock Exhaust. :D

Well, pretty much most mufflers other than fart-cans will sound decent, if you have the stock header and cat. The second I stuck my test-pipe on, my car sounded like Shiat.

I know this is old but to anyone who doubts that turbo's won't make good mufflers..consider that STS' turbo system doesn't include/need mufflers;)
