My opnion i would say go with

B16a head with an Ls Block.

Go all motor first and build up your block and head.... Than if you want more power throw in the turbo if its nessary but than you would have to change some stuff on the block. This is kids stuff. Iam just like you little new to the Hondas iam probably going to get made fun of this comments but hey. iam just trying to help.

thanks for your opinion. Haven't heard of that one yet. Why a b16a head and Ls Block?

Dude he has a gsr motor (b18c1). Why would he want to get rid of his gsr motor for a ls block and a b16a head?

By the way this is not kids stuff. That's the problem, too many kids, they know everything and don't do anything.

Any way, I'm glad it's just an opinion.

So thanks for everyones advise. After some careful thought I decided that I'm going to make a very clean N/A GSR. I mean the body is already in great shap. I have pictures i can post if you all are interested. But, I want this to be my first project where I learn, I'm i'm going to learn by doing evrything myself and there's no way i can do turbo. I'll just try to push as much HP I can out this beast and make it a fun cruiser car. It's going to be a car that no one expects anything out of and get rolled at the green lights, or whatever. Someone else called that type of a car a "sleeper", I've still yet to figure out what that means, but i have a general IDEA.

Anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE! I really appreciated the feedback and lack of flamming. Anyone from the portland area that gave advise wants a beer, it's on me. Thanks again everyone. Be on the lookout for the parts posts I'm going to be making....haha. Cheers

WELCOME!!!! Good luck to you with your car, and most of all with your health!
Thanks a lot man I really appreciate that. I can use all the GOOD luck I can get right now...I have had my share of bad, but I've been looking at it all as good luck, because I am here today with the perspective i have now, which I value more than before.....

Well, I got my cold air intake installed today and got some crazy NGK spark plugs. I'm thinking about doing the Header, Cat, exhaust all at once next for 900 including the DC 4-2-1 or that crazy TRI header...anyone know the benefits to the tri header?

Then if I do that I'll probably do some sort of ECU then think about doing a clutch kit and flywheel. ORRRRR the suspension...that should go before the clutch...

but here's my order i'm thinking...

H, CAT, E > ECU(?) > SUSPENSION > CLUTCH FLYWHEEL STUFFS > then motor stuff like gaskets cams, other stuff I haven't fully investigated...but i think I'm on the right track

OR shoudl I do the ECU after the engine cam works and other gasket type stuff improving the motor?

i would do the suspension, then do all of the engine stuff at once.

Here's pics of it as I bought it. Please excuse the dirt on the floor, it's embarrassing. but I assure you, it's clean now.!

Not sure if the links worked, but i hope they did. New to the posting. This car has 160k miles and the paint on the hood that is posted is about the only think that is wrong. It's an amazing car. Anywho, what do you think this would be worth, cash value wise.

you are looking good! now, before you do anything, I would do all maintenance that needs to be done. tune up, timing belt/water pump, and what not. now, you have to keep in mind that you own an integra, the #1 most stolen car! I highly recommend getting an alarm. now for me, a nice stereo and speakers is usually the first thing to get replaced, but you are mainly concerned about performance, right?

congrats on the intake! next thing I would do is a header, then suspension. suspension is key, invest in some quality coilovers, and get an alignment. good luck, it sounds like you are headed down the right path.

looks good man. Is that water in your left headlight? as wite2nr said, upgrade your security A LOT. Get an alarm and relocate your hood latch or else your alarm is pretty much useless. a kill switch is nice and a clutch lock. can't wait to see what else you do!

I want to get an alarm pager. And I want to have a sticker made that says, "My .45 is never more than 200ft from car." Then I want NRA stickers on it. Doubt it will work so I want to have one of those alarms that have the fuel kill switch when it goes off. I'm going to try and do every pre-caution I can to keep this car. Thanks for everyone's advise.
