AN-R uses some of the same design technology as Bisimotor and they make some of the sickest headers out there. Rage is also very good, but along with RMF they are getting harder to acquire. I believe RMF has already stopped making their production header.I like the fact that you mention Bisimoto. You don't see a whole lot of people running those headers and I'm not sure why. They are badass! Rage is also another that belongs on this list
It's not a T-I write up. It's straight from Titan Motorsports website. Someone on T-I just found it on H-T where someone on there probably found it on Titan.i was hoping on not relying on t-i
but very nice write up!!
Toda's header is pretty solid, Comptech's not bad either for the price (stepped primaries ftw). I believe the Toda header ends at the stock cat location, not 100% sure, but that's a pretty desireable trait for such a high end header for an installer who wants to keep their stock cat and exhaust ending locations, makes for an easier install vs. a longer hybrid header like the Hytech. That's a cool test but they compared a 1 very good header to a bunch of just good headers, and of course the crappy dc.
I'm just saying that taking a custom header and comparing it to mass produced items isn't so much a comparison between equals. I did edit my previous post after reading the entire article. I would like to see a match between the top companies (the aforementioned ones). That would be an interesting match up.Toda's header is pretty solid, Comptech's not bad either for the price (stepped primaries ftw). At least the DC is the larger JDM version, lol.
yea that would be cool...hytech, rmf, smsp, AN-R, Rage etc...and it would be nice to see the performance gains on a stock motor (ex: stock GS-R) and on a built one as well just to see the difference in power based on your plans with your carI'm just saying that taking a custom header and comparing it to mass produced items isn't so much a comparison between equals. That's true, but these are all large headers in this test, most (or maybe all) have 2.5 inch collectors which would be brutal on a stock GSR, too big. But I see what your saying. Testing them on a stock ITR would be acceptable. But I think what's most important is that the tests were done on the same day, on the same dyno, temperature controlled engine to minimize heatsoak, and fuel tuned for each header.yea that would be cool...hytech, rmf, smsp, AN-R, Rage etc...and it would be nice to see the performance gains on a stock motor (ex: stock GS-R) and on a built one as well just to see the difference in power based on your plans with your car
