E85 Fueled T67 Integra 0-115mph

Here is a little vid I made today, boost is 14-15psi in all 5 gears and the tires are 185/65/14's on Steelies :???: I have to short shift 3rd gear to be able to put the power down in 4th.

Its a shame I had to get out of it at 115mph, it pulls like a motherfucker after that..... anyways enjoy :)

Another vid, 4th gear 60mph roll but with 17psi this time...... can you say wheelspin at 100+mph?

http://youtube.com/watch?v=6wyqVwFsuEY

New one for tonight, 19psi this time...... should be over 500whp :)

Good stuff, I ran a T67 on my old G2.

Why run E85? I will never support that shit.

Why run E85??? Lol because I can run 20-30lb of boost on the street, it burns cooler and clear than shit pump gas and its 30 seconds from my front door etc

Why do you dislike the fuel?

Read the link in my sig. The stuff is a amazing performance fuel.

I plan on getting a 100% tune for it. Right now im 33% mix.

It lowers EGT's.
More mid-range TQ.
Works like Meth injection X50
Lower intake temps
Faster spool
More knock resistance
Basically 110 octane for the price of cheap stuff. Or less!

And of course all the added benifits that come with lower temps all around.

Well there is one very good reason for you
Thats easy. 2 tunes. My Cobb will switch them back and forth easy. Its nice having different maps. For instance the body shop guys who have my car are STUCK on a economy setting with WG boost and barely any power. HAHAHAHAHA, no joy rides for them.

It's simply just not a viable solution to our energy problems and it's not readily available and the MPG is even worse. I'll pass.

I can switch to my 100 octane tune IF I actually need more power than I already have

Who said anything about a solution. Im talking about a performance fuel. As for as MPG, its not that bad. Really.

And 100 octane is great. But the E85 is half (if not 1/3) of the cost with a 110 octane rating. Not to mention better than 100 (in the ways posted above).

Solution to rising gas costs...no. Awsome race fuel, you bet your ass!

I don't need more performance nor more power. I'm happy with my car the way it is. As far as gas prices, I could really careless. I work to make money, I make money to spend money. I guess I may care if I made $30k a year but that's why I went to school, so I don't have to worry about things like that

I'm tired but i'll give you a couple more.

1. Lower gas milage
2.It has a lower energy content than gasoline, this goes with number one.
3.It's pointless to even bother getting a car to run on it because it won't be around for too long.
Experts have already said that the maximum amount of ethanol you can get from corn in the U.S. is about 15 billion gallons. Scientists are working on producing ethanol from other plant material, called cellulose, which could increase this capacity by as much as 45 billion gallons. (For comparison’s sake, the U.S. burned 140 billion gallons of gasoline in 2005.)

Look maybe it works good in your car for now because you can make bigger numbers with it but it's not good for the economy, the ecosystem, or the consumer. Your argument that it's runs better is like saying lets put leaded fuel back in cars because it's octane rating usually 120 or more.

Today ethanol is receiving attention because it requires fewer technological breakthroughs and less infrastructure development than batteries or fuel cells.

Im not rying to convince you to use it. Im just showing the superiority of the fuel. As for cost, and your income. Thats really unrelated, the truth is everyone wants to pay less for something, and if you dont, cool. But even if E85 was the cost of 93 or more id still use it, because its still better than 100+ octane. And last time I checked 100 was 8/gal at the nearest station that had it.

Were not talking about an energy solution, were talking performance.

As for the "leaded" comment

Plain and simple, the fuel makes more power by lowering temps all across the board, running at a higher octane and thus allowing more boost, improving mid-range tq, and then some.

So your telling me methanol injection is a joke then?

I just would not completely retune my car for a widely unavailable (around here anyway), less efficient and soon to be irrelevant fuel.if I was going to do all of that then I might as well run methanol.

/thread jack Lol

Nice car btw man.

Ah, yea in NC its plentiful. As for a re-tune. I got a local shop to agree to do a E85 tune for 1/4 price after I did a 93 tune. So doesnt bother me :D
