Ethanol isnt going anywhere soon, its pushed heavily by the Govt. Currently the process to make the stuff isnt as effecient as it could be, BUT this company in MO has its shit in place and other plants will follow in their steps..... here is an email from a guy that works at this plant

"I work for Lifeline Foods in Saint Joseph, Missouri; its one of the most state of the art plants in existence right now and so our production method is also the most efficient. Most statistics that anti ethanol nazis quote are from years ago or very very old scientific studies based on technology from the 70s. The thing that makes our plant better is that it counters the food vs fuel debate. You see, we buy corn and from that kernel, we make corn flour, corn meal, masa flour (for tortillas), extruded cereal & snack products, and then the left over starches, we convert to sugar and make ethanol from. the remaining corn left after we make ethanol, we sell as animal feedstock. So basically, we make food, fuel, animal feed, corn oil, and biomass to burn in a gasification system that provides steam to the plant, reducing the amount of natural gas needed. our system uses about 60% less energy, 10-20% less water, and less corn (which we're getting even more value out of becuase of the dry fractionation process) than a normal ethanol plant"

As for the MPG..... I just got damn near 250 miles out of 11 gallons beating the dog shit out of my car, its really not as bad as certain nazi anti ethanol people make it out to be.

-8 Feed and I used the stock feed as the return.

Funny thing is on my passes my 1/8's were only 89-90mph...... I was picking up 40mph on the last half of the track...... thats flying!

yeah thats sick. i ran a 13.0 @ 109 and picked up 26mph on the back half. i was on 8psi. what are you shifting at? i figure ill shift at 9200ish after i get my tune on monday. right now i have it set on the stock redline since i street tuned it myself. i run the victor x, so shifting at 8000 is right when it comes to life. lol. i have a lot left in this thing. i cant wait

turbos are a trade off. fast spool and die up top or spool late and pull like a mofo. top end > midrange when comes to fast cars; and i dont mean corners. :???:

well what makes you think i floored it right away in 3rd gear? I didnt floor it at all in 3rd.

Car makes 7psi by 4500rpm and 25+ by 6k, lag is not an issue I have, especially with VTEC at 4200rpm. I hit 90mph in the 1/8 at 50% throttle position...... if you dont believe me, go downlaod the NepTune software for free and I will send you the datalog.

My 1.8L BB 67HO makes max boost 700rpm sooner than my friends 85x89mm (TRUE 2.0L) non BB 67 small Stg5 wheel

For comparison though I have a GT3037 Pro S with extrude honed housings on a 2.0 and it will hit 20psi at 4500
