Seen many of problems with knock off ebay crap, Seen turbos fall aprt and blow oil every where, seen manifolds crack. seen blow off valves and WG seize up and blow motors. even seen the so called t bolts they have break because like the other stuff mention they are crap. ;)

but i have never see a problem with the FIMC and i guess ther IC pipes are ok just alot of times kids get them and the still have to be fabricated to fit the car correctly.

:D

but as you can see from every ones opinions, not everything off ebay that isnt name brnad is junk, sorry to say it but some times u get a hell of a product and somtimes you dont. Just because it isnt name brand dont completely rule it out. If i was plannin on building a 500hp integra then ebay would be out of the Question but for somthin just to play with i dont see why not. If you look on other furums everyone that bashes them have never even bought an ebay turbo kit. Because they believed the bad tlaking by other people and decided not to get it. BUt Iv never hurd of anyone who bought the full kit and had major problems with it before. You just never know. BUt dont rule out ebay turbos unless you yourself have bought one!!!!!
I have seen the parts that XS Power make in person. They ARE sub par. The welds are so disgusting. The manifold will fall apart
are those the ebay kits???? and is a tune needed for 5 psi??
Yes and yes
yea but iv also got 3 pages of people WHO HAVENT BOUGHT ONE!!!!!!!!! nad i know one person who does and LOVES it so do the math.
Not many people on here have used them because they know better. Check out experiences that other people have had across various different forums. 1 good experience doesn't make up for 20 bad ones. That's not a ratio I want to be in the middle of

EBAY intercoolers are good. As long as they come with bead rolled I/C piping and T bolt clamps

You Buggin' Out
some in this psot said to check out tunerzine.com or somthing liek that, and when i checked who makes their turbos they said theres no name brand its just a tunerzine brnad... whci hsecretly means EBAY

and what kind of tuning does a integra need??
Tunerzine?

That's an E-Zine.

You mean tunerzimage?

Integraguy04

CORNER CARVER
its tunerzimage.com....and i have called them about their kit and it seems legit...i also called bisimoto b/c they tuned their cars with their kits and the tech that i talked to said that their kit is better than ebay but not as good as a name brand kit

it takes money to play the game of cars. well at least a well built car. me and brother have already gone through this phase of parts selection in the past. At first, it was all about "copy" parts because they are a replica of a good part. so it should work just like the real deal. WRONG. just take those ebay kits to the track(circuit not drag) where they will be pushed to their limits and you'll understand exactly why ebay kit are crap. The brand name parts have limits that a normal driver will never reach. first, everyone going to look down on you because they know your kits not going to last. Second, you're going to look down on yourself because after 15 minutes of continuous actual hard core racing your kit is all f*cked up.

In my opinion, people keep saying that ebay kits are good because they can get a cheap 200whp for 800 bucks. What they don't realize is they will not be proud of what they've built at the end of the day. Most of these people end up selling their cars because they gone tried of it. Where as the other guys who buy all of the brand name parts with their hard earn money, will enjoy their cars for many years to come

On a side note.....putting ebay parts on your car makes your car's value decrease...putting race parts on your car makes your car's value increase. So what's it going to be.....? EBAY R OR TYPE R

The ebay t bolt clamps suck ass. If anyone is goin to get an ebay fmic..go for it, but look at the pics close. Watch those welds.

As i said before, the cores are the same as the name bra nd ones, sometimes a slightly differnt design in the end tanks

Putting aftermarket mods on a car DOESNT raise the value of the car, most of the time it decreases it. Nothing you can do will really ever make a cars value increace. It looses value every time you drive it.

so i guess the score is throught the roof now, looks like i lost, lol, i thought that since iv driven a car with an ebay turbo kit that it'd be okay but is this many people feel this passionate about not buying ebay turbo kits then i guess He jsut got lucky. but the odds are to against ebay turbos for me to risk it now.

The ebay turbo's are Very simialr in size to the name brand ones. What the guy I know who bought a .50 trim did was re-seal it, and have all the internals replaced with the AGP turbo the same size. So basically he uses just the housing. And it still cost him almost $1700 less.

yea i seen alot of turbos that came in kits the were a little more expensive that had garrett internals. But still WAY cheaper than any huge name brand kit. I think tit was like 200 more for the upgraded kit with the internals
