haha well i haven't seen a 4dr EBP DB8 before so imma go for it. gota make it super clean. the color i have right now is pretty unique. i get lots of heads turning and the blue pearls just blings in hte sun. i'd go and do the same color but i'd have to paint the entire car... perfect color matching would be impossible.

but some updates for the S2k project! :thumbup:

i had some time today and i started to mingle around with the cluster. i gutted the donor cluster to get better idea of how to make the harness, and it something i can work with. along with that i also made a cut-out of the s2k cluster to prep for the clear plastic to be cut. slowly but surely its getting there, i just want it to done right the first time, or close to it :p

pics of the cutt-out, i'm thinking about placeing the cutt-out in the back and paint the possibly flat or gloss black on the plastic piece?




a little creativity and custom work.... i believe i see snap-on integra ---> s2k harness :D

but yea.. so a little update on the used hood i purchased recently. trust me this hood is in A LOT better condition than the 1st hood i had. that thing was super beat up! It was like i was 2 fat chicks wrestling for a pizza were on it. so i spent some time to day and grind out the dents while its still noticable. then its on the the bondo and the deep scratches... :thumbdown:




you cant really tell but those LOTS more scratches / tagging on it. :(


and here's a pic of the OLD Hood :p


i basically grinded down all the dents to the bare metal and used a palm orbital sander to smooth out all the edges of the fresh grinds when i get a chance, the next step would to apply some bondo over the grinds and inspect for any further dents if needed, then i'll probably need to block down the entire hood and apply additional bondo if needed. after all then mess, a coat of primer so i can deduct one less color off the chart... haha

Nice work on the hood.

I like your progress with the cluster. Are you making the shroud/plastic pieces and is konerri wiring everything for you?

yes, a stock sedan that will spank your average honda :p and yes... your automatic 2dr teg too. ;) (hey you asked for it)

so if you get beat by a SEDAN... its even WORSE than losing to a coupe.

Coupes have a much cleaner look in my opinion.
If I was looking to race, I wouldn't buy an Integra. So, if a old lady in her Buick beats me off a green light, my ego won't be hurt. I also live in downtown Chicago. Saying shifting is a chore where I live is an understatement.

anywho!!

hurry up and paint her! I wanna see her all finished up... Someday i'll get the front end for my 4dr... just trying to find a white one for a reasonable price, and local, which doesn't help.

It is a nice ride, I certainly cannot deny that, but wish it was 2 doors instead of four, simple as that.
