There is no way I would put an ebay turbo on my car. I did get an intake for the teg off ebay, think it was $30 shipped.
I got an intake for my CB7 and the filter got fucked up within a month. It was POS.There is no way I would put an ebay turbo on my car. I did get an intake for the teg off ebay, think it was $30 shipped.
I like AEM because they come with the brackets welded on to the piping. So it's a perfect fit. Very sturdy too. AEM dry-flow filters are the shit too.ebay filters do suck..but the piping is the same as the AEM and other name brand shit. Maybe a little thinner
i dont think it makes that much difference when you are talking about intake and exhaust being your only modifications...i can see if you decided to get an ebay intake and had at least top end work done...it would only make sense to get a name brand intakeWhen you buy a brand name (quality) your buying years of R&D.
Tell me, how much R&D has gone into a ebay intake that looks like it was built in a ghetto vs. an AEM intake. In every aspect the AEM is better. Only the price is higher, but you have to pay to play and you get what you pay for......
funny cuz my intake is the exact same as the AEM intake diameter wise and degree of the bends. it just doesnt say AEM on the side, but im sure that i could find an AEM sticker and take a picture of it and you would nvr tell the difference. the point im trying to prove is that simple bolt ons from ebay are not gonna make any difference. bigger things like cam gears/shafts, turbos, suspension, anything internal wise on the engine... you want to spend some money on because you get the satisfaction of knowing that research went into it, and that your car wont blow up on initial start up. but honestly how much R&D goes into an intake in the first place. and an exhaust doesnt take too much either, follow the stock route, put some bigger mandrel bent pipes on it, and a fart can, and shazam you got an exhaust. When you buy a brand name (quality) your buying years of R&D.
