Next, I need to finish my cooling system. I already ordered some Samco radiator hoses. I'll be getting a Koyo racing radiator soon.So if you're suspension is done, what is next?
Nice. I was debating doing that. You know, I found out the other day that those aluminum cooling plates made by GReddy, etc. only work on OEM radators, not aftermarket. (Just FYI) because I was looking into the Koyo as well.Next, I need to finish my cooling system. I already ordered some Samco radiator hoses. I'll be getting a Koyo racing radiator soon.
I was planning to get the GReddy cooling plate too, then I realized it won't work with the Koyo radiator that I want. I'm actually planning to keep the C1 in the DB8. I changed my mind because once I get the Type R, the DB8 will be strictly for street use. No more racing the DB8. On the other hand, the DC2 will be getting a K20A2. My friend raced with his DC2 with a K20A2 and overheated. He was using a half-sized rad. He upgraded to a full size one, but it has no rad cap. He said that it was a secret and wouldn't tell me which car uses radiators with no caps. Any clue?Nice. I was debating doing that. Ahh, just thought of something, long term you said you were going with the K series, are you planning to do half size rad like Civic's or our full sized?
The Greddy cooling plate fits the Koyo racing radiator? Werd?On the Greddy cooling plate, Loi at Sportcar Motion is running it i their black DC2/ K24 with a full size Koyo and dual Fal fans.
Awesome! Now I can get it! Thanks for the heads up.yuppers, I seen it on the Sportcar DC2...
I'm more function > form. The main reason I went with 15s is weight reduction. Can't beat 9-pound wheels. Shedding unsprung weight was the key from the start.Hey Matt any particular reason you didnt get 16's?
