Next, I need to finish my cooling system. I already ordered some Samco radiator hoses. I'll be getting a Koyo racing radiator soon.
Nice. I was debating doing that. You know, I found out the other day that those aluminum cooling plates made by GReddy, etc. only work on OEM radators, not aftermarket. (Just FYI) because I was looking into the Koyo as well.

Ahh, just thought of something, long term you said you were going with the K series, are you planning to do half size rad like Civic's or our full sized?

I was planning to get the GReddy cooling plate too, then I realized it won't work with the Koyo radiator that I want. I'm actually planning to keep the C1 in the DB8. I changed my mind because once I get the Type R, the DB8 will be strictly for street use. No more racing the DB8. On the other hand, the DC2 will be getting a K20A2. My friend raced with his DC2 with a K20A2 and overheated. He was using a half-sized rad. He upgraded to a full size one, but it has no rad cap. He said that it was a secret and wouldn't tell me which car uses radiators with no caps. Any clue?

I found out that my friend is going to start manufacturing his own products soon. He's going to be starting with brake and suspension products, possibly coilovers. Who knows... I might be parting some stuff in the near future and start rocking his shit.
