Skunk2 Short Shifter

I'm in the market for a new short shifter I found the brand I want to get, skunk2 but I don't know what one to get they make to different types a single bend short shifter and a dual bend short shifter. What's the difference between the 2 and what on would be better suitable for street/track racing?

Never really looked into it, but most poeple go for the dual-bend. I have a Buddy Club one and it's dual-bend.

i opted for the dual bend skunk2. the dual bend basically sit more centered. The single bend sort of leans backwards. If you're using the stock shifter now, that's a single bend.

um no. the stock shifter is still a dual bend. and second the skunk2 dual bend sits back further than the single bend. the skunk2 single bend shifter places it up by the cup holder and it hits if you have a cup in there. ive had both.

I recommend that you also get new shifter bushings while you're at it. I have Energy Suspension shifter bushings. They were only $10 brand new.

Yea I usually do that when I get a short shifter. I did that with my pass 2 civics I had.

I would definitetly go with the dual bend. Single bend shifters place the knob much farther forward and make you have to reach for it. I like the way the dual bend sits further back, makes it easy and more comfortable

how much is the skunk2? i looked at it one time but then found that the fidanza short shifter is much cheaper. i payed $23.96 shipped for my Fidanza short shifter. its a dual bend and i dont see why it shouldnt be good, its backed by Fidanza.

It's like $125 for the skunk2 but you should know by now Eric I'm a skunk2 whore lol.

That is an aluminum vs. steel alloy arguement. Or brittle vs. high strength
