My buddy (James) had a cheap short shifter and he wasn't even racing and went into 3rd and snapped the shifter in half.dont see myself banging through the gears hard enough to break it. and if it does, ill just buy another.
Wow...My buddy (James) had a cheap short shifter and he wasn't even racing and went into 3rd and snapped the shifter in half.
:werd:Quality > Quantity. I'd go for the Skunk over the Fidanza.
i broke a dc sports shifter putting it into reverse in my driveway. no matter what company makes it, its still aluminum. getting hot during the day and cold at night just makes it brittle over time. especially if you live somewhere it gets really cold or really hot during the year. aluminum shifters = :lameI drive pretty hard, ask Kurt, if i find it a problem with it being weak, ill just buy something else. it cant be too weak, it is produced by a well known company
That's the same setup I was looking at theres a skunk2 store on ebay that sells the dual bend shifter and knob for $129 shipped I think.i just got my skunk2 short shifter (dual bend)
i would get a weighted shifter knob too
i got my skunk 2 short shifter and shifter knob from wesellcarparts on our site
for 140 shipped
and the knob looks like the itr one with red numbering
