My Nitrous Teg

how come the 100 shot was the biggest you could go on the wet?

Between running the stock ignition and having the main nitrous solonoid being fed off a 90 degree fitting I was maxing the system out. The stock ignition couldnt keep the spark lit at high rpms and max power and the 90 degree fitting was a major flow restrictor that I didnt notice untill I started taking it all apart then it dawned on me.

Thanx again for all the kind words guys. The car has been a couple years in the making all paid outta my own shallow pockets. I have alway found a way to get either a good deal on stuff or flat out get it for free. I have a very understanding and supportive wife that loves the car like its a member of the family. That makes it all really easy to succede.

You can preload a manual tranny bu using the Ebrake when you stage up at the race track. WHen im staging I turn on the top yellow bulb. THen run my rpms to the desired launch rpm.now I pull the ebrake up and slowly realease the clutch ans inch the car into the secon beam turning on the second yellow bulb. All the while there is a load on the axles by using the ebrake. Then when its time to launch the hit on the axles wont be so great. Hope that helps.

So how much of a shot are you planning on running now? Your running a crower bottom end like me aren't you.

No crower bottom end. Im running Eagle H beams, Arias Flat top pistons, and OEM bearrings. Everything else internal is stock.

Well I was running a 165 shot on the two stages but im planing on droppin it down a bit to make the car more diveable on the track. Plus to get into the 7's I really dont need 350hp. And thats my goal is to get my little 1.8 nitrous car into the 7's. After that im starting another project.

So far on just the 100 shot through the wet kit I have only ran an 8.6. No biggie though, I have almost no seat time in the car so itll improve alot.
