My intake growled louder than my exhaust when getting on it in my GSR.

X2 people who didnt know any better swore i had an exhaust/catback when hearing my intake

gsr runners go downward while ls,b16,and r manifolds are the normal ones that have the plenum up top. About hearing your intake, well why do you really care. It's working so what does it matter.

i got a 95 ls and before i put on my cat back exhaust i had the same deep throaty sound..and even after the exhaust i can still hear it..

The intake on my teg is pretty damn loud and its an LS.

I would say it's because of the gsr intake manifold. Seems like it would quiet the sound because of the design and runners.
