I finally found a powdercoating place in Concord called TB Applied Finishes and had them do my wiper arms. Got them back today, they look pretty good.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

Only cost me $25 for all 3. I did them in semi-gloss black. They told me if I can wait until they have a bunch of items to powdercoat the same color I wanted my arms to be, that I could save some money on them, so I did. My car's not going anywhere trapped in the backyard behind a 10 foot high snowbank anyway. So they had them for 3 weeks, and I saved myself $15.

....and your wiper arms will look like my before pics a year from now. I went that route over and over again too, spray paint doesn't last. I had even sandblasted my arms right down to bare metal, covered them with multiple coats of Krylon black and then multiple coat of clearcoat, and they still eventually turned to crap. This is a true powdercoat finish, it's a hell of alot more durable than any spraypaint.

Nice.

My wiper arms got to the point where they were all silver. It would blind the hell out of me early in the morning on the way to school. Not a good way to wake up and start your day. lol

I might have to look into doing that... Good call! We have a sand-blaster at school we can use, but I dunno about powder coating.

Like I said, it normally would have been $40, but I let them hold them until they had many items that were getting coated the same color, so I got them done for $25. The dude there named Ed Drelick is really cool.
