clicking sound when turning

Some times when im turning at low speeds i will get like a clicking sound from which sound like the front right of the car. I couldnt find anything like that on the forums... Car has about 125k miles on it. It could be the suspension or just cause its been like 5 degrees out for the last 3 months. Any guesses will help...

also the other day i was driving home work work on the interstate and i noticed the car started shaking and pulling to the right. I figured that i had a flat tire or something froma pot hole, so i pulled over and looked at the wheel but it was fine, i got back in the car continued driving, but this time it drove perfect again.

Thanks

Yeah man either your CV axel is goin to shit or your wheel bearing is goin out. Have you checked the obvious, like maybe a couple loose lug nuts, badly wore tires.

I had my CV go out a coupe weeks ago. the whole pulling sounds about right. mine started pulling only when i was on the gas and gradually go worse. I stopped to check it out, got back in after a couple minutes and it stopped.... then gradually came back. it semi sounds like your cv.

ya the nuts are all torqued to 95lbs. CV Shaft is about 60$ her with lifetime warranty from oriellys. not to bad how is it replacing them. Also its really cold so it would suck to replace right now maybe a week or so it will get warmer, how long can i drive on it?

yeah.. your axles are like mine.. im about to change mine out in a few minutes.. from a difficulty level between 0 thru 10, i'd say its a 7.5..

ive been driving on these for a good while.. i think they're good ti'll the clicking gets more constant and louder.. hahaha!!

the only reason why ive waited so long is because im getting oem replacements and not no aftermarket ones. i suggest you do this because, even tho you get aftermarkets and you have warrenty, they're not as good quality and would have to be replaced if you snap em.. yeah you could replace for free, but its just the fact you gotta replace em again.. and theres a possibility aftermarkets would vibrate because it doesnt have that 'rubber ring' in the middle of the shaft..

After you take your wheel off it's only 3 bolts, not really hard at all if you have some mechanical aptitude.

youll need two 17s
a hammer
ball joint tool and what ever else u may need to pull your wheels off.

i recommend changing your seal in the tranny while the axle is out.....its only 4 bucks from advanced auto.

all I take off is the lower ball joint, I slip a prybar through there and pry it down with the shock still connected, then I pull the long bolt out the shock and swing the hub and caliper off to the side and yank that fucker out.
