Corners are fun but trying to powering out of them with no power blows! That is why power is fun! It makes straight lines and corners all the more fun

he was saying something about thats as big as you can go
with out having to mess with the fuel press regulator
i dont know
They run a static fuel pressure with a stock fuel system and do corrections through injector pulse width. Running a 255lph pump without an adjustable FPR and/or a good tuning system will throw your A/F out of whack and it can get pretty hard to compensate for without an EMS or DSMlink (Emanage Ultimate can pull it off if its not ridiculously drastic). Trying to compensate that with an AFC or something will run into limp or fuel cut mode

The problem with a question like this is the GSX. They can vary greatly depending on the what he is using to tune, skills of the tuner and the supporting mods.

There are people out there with only 220awhp 16g DSM's and there are some who have 380awhp on the same turbo
Another HUGE issue is boost leaks. These cars have alot of them. And if its all stock you bet your ass its leaking. The newest DSM is 9 years old, after 9 years the plastic/rubber intake piping is leaking on the flex somewhere. So some of these cars are ALOT slower than a "New Stock" DSM. Look for new piping (intercooler piping) there are a list of little things to look into on the DSM. There are just a plethora of things that need to be replaced or kept in check.

And turbo FWD, just dont go from a dig. Its not a drag strip with perfect axle snapping traction surface. your talking a rough, loose rocks, oils, dirt, holes, and thats a nice normal road. Give yourself an advantage and go from a roll.

He said it had a FMIC so I assume boost leaks through the piping are good as long as he doesn't still have the gigantic POS BOV also known as a plastic shit 2g DSM BOV

Injector seals are the next likely culprit to boost leaks though

Injector seals (mine went), BOV gasket (blew 2), IM gasket (mine had a small one on the underside, never fixed that one. LOL). Also dont for get the TB gaskets, those are known to giveout. Then there is the BISS screw. Then if he has a upgraded turbo, the turbo to J-pipe seal (roasted 2, then went to a nice multi-ply)

Thats all AFTER a full piping replacement pre tb.

Now most turbos have these gaskets, but IDK why, DSMs like to go through them like nothing.

I've never had a problem with any of those gaskets........weird. That only one that you've mentioned that I've see "semi commonly" is the BISS. You should use sealant on those threads anyhow

HAHA, IDK the threads your looking into. The BISS, BOV, Injector seals, j-pipe, and IM are all common. The Injector, biss, J-pipe, and BOV are Extremely common. Tb isnt that common, but ive seen plenty of leaks there

Injector seals, BOV and BISS are definitely common. Not so much on IM and J pipe. I don't pay much attention to the obvious fix threads on DSM sites anyway. How many times can tell some to do a boost leak test? LOL Most of the BISS leaks are more or less just a self induced problem by the owner. The stock 2G BOV is just a POS and everyone knows it but it still somehow suprises them.

I've just never had a problem with a gasket other than an injector seal but that was happening around 25psi.

Its worth noting your car is BUILT and its not a DD. LOL, thats what kills them, mileage and DD activities.
