I raced my buddies turbo all-wheel laser. We were pretty much dead even up through to the top of third, thats when we let off. We didnt really launch though, so im sure he would have gained some distance if we had launched.

The problem with a question like this is the GSX. They can vary greatly depending on the what he is using to tune, skills of the tuner and the supporting mods.

There are people out there with only 220awhp 16g DSM's and there are some who have 380awhp on the same turbo

the one i raced is stock.

My car is a gsr with,
short ram
megan header
b16 trans with lsd
skunk2 IM
clutmasters stage 3
12lb flywheel


so thats what it took for me to hang with a 1g turbo all-wheel.

off the launch he pulled on me a bit, but as we went i caught up and started to pass. I figure i would beat him on a highway pull.

but once he does any kind of mod i imagine he would destroy me.

i say work on your suspension/good tires, lose some weight and race him in a auto x event and all those mods he did dont mean shit and u would probably have the upper hand

not that it so much matters whats done to my car its the power out put of each car. the ones that i have raced peronaly i dont know what was done to there cars but if it helps i cruise around on 6psi putting down 267whp that that will walk 95% of the cars i come across. its good for a low 13. but if he is untuned, with just a basic set up on your car, you should have no poblems. also my buddy reced one that put down like 320 in a GST but my buddy had a turbo hatch puttin down 256 and bearly got beat by a car. if you have a GSR you can turbo it and put down and easy 300 on a simple dragkit and have no worries

Maybe he is on a budget and that is all he needs and that is what you can get out of a stock VR4 pump

Come on guys...Seriously stop posting this stuff!!

Everyone knows you all want everyone to auto cross cause "corners are better".

Personally, I want to feel my car pulling forward, not rocketing around corners, so I'm with this guy on not caring about the corners. It's already been stated that that is NOT what he is looking for.
