f*** you DC2!!

UPDATE: 01/15

I got a new alternator, put it in, tightened everything down, put in my battery agian, and the battery light came on agian. I did the "pull of the negative" alternator test and once I took off the negative, my car died (then my keys got locked in my car cause that's how my alarm is so i'm done for the night)

what is going on??

Help? suggestions?

Another question: the wire connected unto the bold that has the rubber covering, is that a ground or is that the power? Within the last day I've heard it was the ground...while some say its the power. So which is it?

Perhaps this is in the wrong thread so mods, feel free to relocate if needed. I'm having issues with power agian. At this moment, i'm so f***ing pissed and seriously want to kick my car and push it into a f***ing river. I've replaced the battery and the car was working great..that is without my alarm and power cable for my sub connected. I figured my car had been running perfectly the last couple of days, perhaps everything was okay. I connected my alarm agian and my sub and about 2 days in, my f***ing car dies on me in the middle of the f***ing highway.

where are all my grounds?? Perhaps its my alternator but I"m going to do one thing at a time to eliminate the waste of time and money spent cause its cold as s*** here, not to mention, i just replaced the damn distributor 2 months ago, got a new battery 2 weeks ago, had to return it because it was s***, got a new one and now this, and i just replaced the slave cylinder yesterday.

Car: 98 GSR coupe

help help help.
ps. sorry for the provactive language...I'm just on edge right now and everything is just pissing me off!

I thought you were referring to DC2Integ in your thread title. Lol!
I thought he was referring to me.

I would start by just testing your alternator. It's cheap and easy. Then start checking for grounds or shorts

Did you only try to connect just the alarm or just the sub without the other?
no i haven't. I connected both of them at the same time when I did. Since my car died on me the other day, my car hasn't been able to start. I just don't see why and how either would be draining my battery. I'm not having starting issues. It is only an issue once the car dies on me. With a jump start though, the car starts fine.

Since then, i've disconnected both my alarm and sub. After the car died in the driveway though nothing worked. WIth the key on the "on" position, my lights and everything wouldn't turn on. Yesterday afterwork I go and try, the car won't start but my lights and everything are turning on.

this s*** sucks.
