UPDATE: 5/15/07
the larger size fitting on the 94-97 master cylinder compared to the 3/16 on the new one. btw the other fitting on the mc is 3/16... so wtf was honda thinking making 2 different size fittings on the same mc?... this made us stuck at pepboys for nearly 2 hours with dumbass workers.
very nice job..i totally agree with u on have 2 dif fittings on 1 master..all automakers do that shit and make it harder and harder for people to work on at home this way the have to come to the dealer....and as far as pepboys hahahah:drool: those people are retarted i went in for a metric bolt for a caliper bracket n they took 20 mins to find that shit..i use napa n for all my little bits n bolts not major parts tho..

so where the new pics at?
haha ask and you shall receive.

i dont think a write up is needed... but i do have some tips that can help make the product look perfect since mines didn't turn out as perfect as i wanted. make sure you mask off the parts you don't want painted like... check out the first pic i had earlier. its a simple job btw you can use an exacto knife and cut the circles... its easy cause the shape is already there. i'm pretty sure everyone knows how to use a spray can. so we'll move on.

when you wanna do this project.. make sure you do it early in the day... like 12'ish... cause you want it to dry quicky and evenly. this stuff takes a VERY LONG TIME TO DRY... so after a ouple hours after the last coat... bring it or leave it somewhere so no one or anything touches it. i left it alone for a couple days.

once everything is dry... mask off the areas around the "honda" "dohc vtec" "H"... and use a sandling block... probably a 400grit or so and block it down. the tip here is make sure you mask enough so you wont accidently scruff the wrinkled surface.

its still a bit dirty, i haven't washed it down after i blocked off the letters. overall i'm not totally satisfied at the job i did... it coulda been a lot better if i took some time paint it right earlier in the day. some areas dried faster than other spots... i'd give it a 7~8'ish out of 10 :p

oh yea i also painted the OEM strut wrinkle red too... haha
