Exactly.

It has that Harley sound, but it's not like every other exhaust that's made for the Buell's that like "HAY LOOK AHT ME GO BWAHHH!!!11one!!"

It's closest to the factory race exhaust.

What bar ends do you have?

Do yours actually thread into the bar or are they those rubber expandable things?

Also what color bar ends should I get?

I'm split between just plain old black, silver/bare aluminum/ and faux gold to match the levers

Actually thought about painting the bike bright blue with the gold levers and doing either silver or red bar ends for those late night chili dog runs

Also you never exactly said for sure, but did you end up using the green scotchbrite/wd40 method on this?

My brain's in full overtime mode, trying to gather up all the little shit I can do to this honder to clean it up and make it semi nice. I'm itching to not have a piece of shit sitting beside my mustang anymore :rolf:

Bar ends - just the expandable rubber ones from Cycle Gear that are like $10.

Headers - Green scotchbrite, wd40, finished with Mothers aluminum polish.

Cool, I already have the aluminum/mag polish as long as I can find it, I'll get scotchbrite pads later.

From the looks of those bar ends I could probably change the screw and make them thread into the clip ons, but if not I'll use something to make them stay in good if they don't fit great.

I may be able to order the chain kit Wednesday or Thursday, supposedly have a guy that's gonna buy the super leaf blower Wednesday morning.

Are gel batteries any good? I bought one on ebay for like $35 or something. The battery I have now is dead if I don't ride it for a couple days. But my front EBC HH pads came in, new fork seals and fork is still otw

Should only take like 30mins to do pretty bad headers. I'm gonna have to redo my front pipe as it's starting getting crusty again, probably from my quick detailer over-misting onto it

A few minutes to clean it up every month or so isn't too bad though.

The bolt on them is countersunk into the bar end, so good luck

Weird that the F4 has actual clip ons instead how the Firebolt is setup.

Is that including sprocket, or just the chain?

I'm just gonna try the old two smoker fatty method of coating it in wd40 like twice a week to keep it rust free

"Fixed position clip ons"

I can get an allen head bolt if the one that comes in it comes out, and I've got a drill press if I have to change the hole a little... not that I'll be inclined to do that much work if the rubber thing holds it well enough to suit me :rolf:

I think it's one of the vortex kits on motosport. Steel front and rear sprockets for longevity, going down a tooth up front.

Just gonna be a cheap ass $150 kit to try my luck with it, not putting an expensive ass DID chain and all that on it like I would if I had a real bike. :rolf:

You laugh, but they're really fucking comfortable :rolf:

The little rubber things hold fine. I put the same bar ends in the KZ, C70 and XB. None have ever moved from where I tightened them down originally.

R13

The other asshole
I could also use just a touch of grip glue to hold them, but I doubt they'll go anywhere.

Just tighten them down a little more than they should be. I did it that way on the Buell, haven't loosened up yet.

Meanwhile my shifter almost fell off because of the vibrations :rolf:

R13

The other asshole
Neither do I :rolf:

I usually just slide them on with wd40 and once it dries into that gritty stuff it holds it just as good.
