So... I want to repair these body damages but I have no auto body experience. Someone care to give me the basics and what to buy? All I know is get rubbing compound, sand it, prime it(???), paint, and clear coat. I'd have to get the paint from a pain shop since duplicolor doesnt make NH583M.

Just placed an order for a ton things;
-ITR semi-loaded calipers
-Mini cooper 280mm ventilated rotors
-Fram fuel filter
-2007 Acura TSX front hawk pads
-rear Integra rotors
-rear Hawk integra pads

I'm still waiting on my VTEC solenoid and my Blox testpipe. Btw, never order off of THmotorsports, their prices are great and all but their shipping is garbage. I bought my blox testpipe a week ago and it still hasn't came in nor have they emailed me a tracking number.

Ugh, fram...

You're a semi loaded caliper.

Fram is the same as most cheap filters actually

My grandfather delivered a truck load of filter paper/material when he drove trucks and the factory there was making the same filters with the same materials and putting Fram and a bunch of other brand names on them, so it's all the same shit as far as cheap filters go.

So I attempted to do the brake conversion today but I only did one wheel. The drivers side front rotor screw is seized and the impact driver wasn't much help and it just stripped it so I just reinstalled the old parts, I didn't have much tools on me so I figured that I was going to have to drill it out tomorrow. Everything was going well on the passenger side, cut the dust shield and installed the calipers with the pads and rotors. It seemed good till I drove it down the road. It makes a godawful screeching sound. I have a feeling that the rotor is rubbing against something so I'm going to be fixing that tomorrow too. I bled the RF side first and then the LF if that makes any difference?

Double check your cut of the dust shield and on the article it says to remove the pad spring

I didn't even put on the pad spring, I'll check the dust shield.

Well I see why it's making a screeching noise. When the rotor spins, it tilts over to the retainers clips and rubs against that. Anything to fix that?

Let me get this straight. You did a brake conversion... on one wheel, and drove it that way? I assume you're changing calipers and everything meaning you're running 2 different calipers up front currently. :retard:

Yep, I just swapped them on the other side since I drilled out the rotor screw. Still makes the same noise.

Figured out the problem, dust shield was bent so it rubbed against the rotor and ate it up. Looks like I'm ordering a new one

Ordered a new rotor and rear ceramic pads since the hawk pads that I ordered for the rear where for a TSX. All coming in tomorrow, got to love amazon prime
