Get the valve lash adjusted.
Specs are:
90-91 b18a
intake - 0.006 to 0.007 inch
exhaust - 0.007 to 0.008 in
92-93 b18a
non-vtec intake 0.003 to 0.005 in
non-vtec exhaust 0.006 to 0.008 in

Question? If I can use a b20 none vtec.why I can't use b20 vtec?Then you want the 90-91 specs.

Get those adjusted and see how the ticking is.
These engines are noisy anyway so don't expect it to be silent, that's just how they are, even when they're perfectly healthy.
