The knock was my pilot bearing/clutch, It was making noise for about 2 weeks on decel and it smoothed back out... ? :lol:

Not being able to replace the head bolts is coming back to bite me in the ass though, I've had a slow leak out one corner of my headgasket for a little while now, The car has slowly but surely been losing power and it's starting to burn oil.

It's still fine for now, It only smokes when I get on it hard and get it up above 4k rpms, but it will need to be pulled apart in time, I plan to upgrade the pistons, rods, valves and header when that time comes, possibly intake manifold too.

ARP head studs will go in next time.

I think when the mustang is taken care of and I have the RC to pay insurance on I'll drop the teg, store it, and stash parts until I have everything to rip it apart and fix it right. I'll also take that time to get new wheels/tires and proper suspension.

It may be a 20 year build like Rachel's teg but I honestly don't feel like letting some twerp have it for 2-3k and letting it go to trash, I don't need that money. Even if I just put a couple hundred in it a year, in enough time it could be a nice build. :)

I have stored my teg for 4-5 years now. It get's very pricey on monthly storage fees.

Think about how long I've had mine, it should definitely be done by now. But I still have a LONG way to go! That just shows dedication, and maaybe just a little procrastination. :lol:

Stored in the garage where I was building my mustang, I've decided not to sell it, just gonna keep it around until the day comes I can tear it down, do a ton of body work, jdm front, sunroof delete etc, then suspension and wheels, build the engine up for turbo, get about 400-500whp out of it. Start tracking it.

Probably gonna be a few years, and if someone handed me the right amount of money for it I'd probably let it go, but no one's dumb enough to do that surely. :lol:

This is about the most recent pic of it, still pretty much the same, white wheels and such.

And because traffic here is shit, there are no backroads that are good for driving, no tracks, no autoX, just straight, boring ass 45mph 4 lanes.

Plus I'm used to riding a bike so every time I botch the revmatch on a downshift I just feel like an idiot.
