awesome pic

I need to get to a car show soon. I've only been to one this year so far.
Thanks! That's my buddy Eugene's '96 DC4 on the far left, my '95 DC4 in the middle, and my buddy Victor's supercharged '00 DC4 on the right closest to the camera.

'Sup peoples,
So, I get paid tomorrow, and I've got three mods that I'm pondering. I wouldn't be able to afford all three, so here's what I'm planning.

Mod 1 = $200ish
Mod 2 = $150ish
Mod 3: $135ish

I'm going to try and get mod 1. If I can't afford it, I'll move to mod 3 and something else. If I can't afford mod 3 and something else, I'll move to mod 2. If I can't afford mod 2, I'll move to mod 3.
Confused yet?
Mod 1 = custom short ram intake with a Skunk2 velocity stack and an AEM filter
Mod 2 = plasma ion fog lights
Mod 3 = high and low beam HID's and tinted high beam lenses

Well, I got paid, and I didn't go with any of these routes.
I ordered a Dynomax Race Bullet (2.25" inlet/outlet, 18" case), a "build-your-own" Spintech Super ProStreet 9000 Series muffler (2.5" center inlet/ 2" offset outlet), and a few other small miscellaneous pieces for my exhaust setup. I have to finish the rest next paycheck. 8)

Some of my exhaust parts came in today. I'm still waiting on a muffler, and I'll be finishing ordering the rest of it next paycheck.

Here's some more pictures of my exhaust stuff.
I'll only explain my plan for my exhaust if asked about it. If I'm not asked, it'll remain a secret. :)

Stock tip is on the left, the one I bought is on the right. I'm holding the new one up to the old one for a comparison.

I just resealed my passenger's side bumper lense and I finally changed out my pcv valve. My old one was nasty and clogged, so I'm sure the new one will help at least a little.
My e-mail is acting up, so my only way of putting photos on here is currently down, but I'll put a picture up of the old vs. new pcv valve when my e-mail is restored.

So whats this secret exhaust plan you are talking about?
The plan is to replace the catalytic converter with a Dynomax Race Bullet (2.25" inlet/outlet, 12" case length), replace the resonator with another Race Bullet (2.25" inlet/outlet, 18" case length), and then I built a Spintech Super ProStreet 9000 Series muffler on Spintech's website. It's a 2.5" center inlet/2" offset outlet. I'm going to paint the case black and put a factory style tip on it. So, it'll look stock, flow like a full 2.25" system, and none will be the wiser. :)

Parts!
Here's the old vs. new pcv valve pic I was talking about yesterday.

Then, this bad boy came in.

My exhaust parts thus far.

Really hard to see, but I put my Spintech decal on. I'll try and get another picture of it tomorrow.

Then there's... this thing. :p (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cBRZ75_PEs)

Taped the muffler off for paint. I didn't have any painter's tape left with decent adhesive properties to it, so I used duck tape. It worked fine. :)

Painted and un-taped. Final product.

I also made the discovery that the inlet on my exhaust tip is going to need to be flared just a little bit to fit onto the muffler. The muffler's outlet diameter and the exhaust tip's inlet diameter are exactly the same size. So, I lined up the exhaust tip with the outlet of the muffler and marked it at the point where it needs to get flared with a metallic Sharpie, so that way, if I can't get the marker off, at least it somewhat blends in.
