OneFastGsr, is that the stock swingarm? Cause Just like you've read, it should slide right into place. Maybe The spacer is in the wrong place? Just buy a stock swingarm and bolt that shit up! I can buy a gsxr one for 30 to 50 bucks.
I've been doing a ton of reading lately and everything I read pointed to the GSX-R being the perfect bike for what I need. Signed up for gixxer.com as well. Good group of people over there. :)
You signed up for a 150cc now forum :lmao:. Sign up at gsxr.com not gixxer.
Gixxer was just produced by Suzuki in India, it's a little 150cc bike lol.

Alittle closer.. After a long while later. Took lots of prying to get the rear wheel on. I'm pretty confident that the swingarm is bent or something. It was absolutely impossible to get the rear on with one person. Had a board underneath the rear wheel to hold it up, one person with a pry bar against the swingarm trying to pry the swingarm apart for more room, While other person is hitting the wheel with a hammer trying to move it because both sides are scraping against the swingarm with no room whatsoever. Never again will I remove the rear wheel. Which leaves me to where I am now. My brother told me to go buy a clip-on masterlink for like $5 instead of this rivet master link that came with it. Had another guy call me today wanting to buy the bike. $3000 he wanted me to drive it to him with the title (Always sketch, I think they should come to me when i'm selling something.) Told him all that's wrong, Sent him a pic I was currently installing chain/sprockets. Still have to install the stator. Wish I had all this stuff installed already so I could sell it

Aren't all harleys?

I've never ridden the v-rod/night-rod but from the dyno vids and stuff they don't look impressive either, My brother is obsessed with them...

The only reason you should use a clip on link is to get the bike to the shop so they can install a master rivet link.

Glad you got it on there man! Did you check out the harbor freight chain breaker I told you about? it'll chop your chain and rivet it for you for $15.

I seen it but I'm still confused on how it works. I didn't read anywhere about how it rivets the chain. Whenever I search chain tools, Chain breakers and rivet tools come up as different things.

Honestly... I kinda like Sportsters, but they have to be done the right way. An off the shelf cruiser Sportster with tassels on the bars and saddlebags, fuck no... The Ryca café kit, yes.

And the XR1200 they released a few years back is alright, but they f***ed up the exhaust and tail section. They should have made it more tracker oriented:

So the breaker comes with two of the little pole things that you see one of here. The 2nd one is inside the screw housings on the right, which is used to smash the top of the rivet that you see in the 2nd picture. Then the second pole is placed on the other side to hold the rivet in the chain.

The bolt on the right makes the pole come out more, while the bolt closest to the handle screws the hole thing in.

Fair enough.

I DD'd my cbr with a D.I.D. chain and the clip on master link but it was only like 55mph the whole way to work and stuff.

Who said I didn't?

It was my daily for 3 years, Speeding in a straight line isn't as fun once you've done about 70mph around a motocross track.

Haha this one is for the GSXRs.
" Welcome to Gixxer.com - a forum dedicated to the Suzuki GSX-R motorcycles." I browsed gsxr and the crowd there didn't feel like a fun forum, plus it seemed dead. I could be wrong.
