The oil drain is right in the center on the front between the header, I had the rear stand on the bike so the bike was literally tilted and centered where all the fluid would go right to the drain. Only 1.5 quarts came out total. It was completely empty. Poured 3 quarts in and it was right inbetween the low and high spot on side

Accel.speed

basically, i like fast!
Then maybe it has an oil leak or the PO didn't fill it enough. I just hope it didn't do damage to the engine. Could you see the oil level before you poured it out?

No fucks given.
Apparently I have the only CVK carb that doesn't have a removable enricher unit. -.- So instead of plugging the three holes, I plugged the one where all three meet (sprayed carb cleaner through each to make sure).

Still gotta wait another hour or so for the JB Weld to fully cure. If it doesn't work, my carb is pretty much f***ed and I'll have to get a new one.

Got so bored that I washed the Integra  Probably the first pic of the two of them together since before I stretched the scoot.

While I was out working on a prelude yesterday my little brother removed the paint from my reservoir caps and gas cap, Look a bit better than that terrible red paint.

New battery came in today, Installed it about 30 minutes ago, Bike fired right up, Everything had power. I need to find a video camera to record it running, It makes a weird noise from the motor, Louder on the right side than the left. Out the exhaust sounds great like a normal bike, Motor has no ticking noises, no knocking noises, no whistling noises, The sound it's making is like a whine, Like a deep whining noise not a high pitched sound. I have no idea what it is. Whenever my older brother comes over i'm going to ask him cause he daily'd his 1000rr for like 2 years so i'm sure he'll know if it's normal or not. I've heard 1000rr's are really noisy bikes and my dad thinks it's just so loud because it has no fairings so i'm hearing everything

I tried to bleed the brakes earlier, Never figured it out, When I bleed it at the master cylinder bleeder valve it'll start building pressure, But once I got to bleed the caliper bleeder valves it'll just slowly lose pressure I guess even though there's air bubbles coming out, So I can never get it to build pressure from calipers...

Sounds like tires weren't the only thing they were burning... Clutch.

Pop it in neutral while it's running and slowly work the clutch, See if you feel/hear anything.

Here's video of it running, I asked my brother if he had any ideas (He hasn't heard it yet i just described it over the phone) He thinks it might be the cam chain tensioner. He'll be over here around 5 and he'll be able to hear it run in person

After searching crankshaft whine on youtube, I think that's what it sounds like ._. Fuck

Well I'm fairly certain only 1 of the 3 holes got filled with JB Weld . This s*** was brand new 3 minutes before the picture was taken.

I'll have to fill these in tomorrow. Don't feel like f***ing with it anymore today.

Small one on the left

The usual stuff that makes a car idle rough, Old plugs, Needing valve adjustment/tune up, Compression loss, Things of that nature, I'd say that thing needs some plugs and a valve adjustment, As much rubber was on that swingarm they've probably been hot and it's killed some of the consistency in them.

And of course burning rubber means high rpms, High rpms mean valves need adjusting more often.
