Got some work done on Alice tonight. Replaced the radiator hoses, drained, flushed, and re-filled the radiator, and adjusted the A/T kickdown cable. I also helped my buddy install a cam seal in his Integra.

Old hoses

Old vs. new hoses (sorry for the dark picture)

New hoses

I might get a daytime shot tomorrow.
Also, when we (my buddy and I) were bleeding the coolant system, we noticed that when the fans kicked on, only the driver's side kicked on. We played with the air conditioning, the heater, and did a few other things to try and get the fan to come on with no avail. So, that fan is officially toast. I'll be picking up a Blox Racing slim fan when I get my next paycheck, as well as doing an oil change and possibly replacing my fuel filter and the fuel line leading to it.
Who knew maintenance could be fun?

Lovin your progress bro. I really liked the color of your other teg
Thanks, man! I appreciate it!
Yeah; I've been hearing that a lot lately. Who knows? That color might be in this car's future. I dunno what I'm doing for paint yet.

I may be installing the LED's and the switchbacks tonight. I'm not sure yet. We'll see.
If I do, there will be pictures up.

Nice updates.
Thanks, buddy!
You now need Mishimoto hoses and an OEM sunroof visor to be cool like me. 8)
Just kidding. You're already cool.
Hoses look good
Thanks, man!

---update---
I got my 168 white LED's and my switchbacks installed... well, kinda. They're installed, and they're installed right, but the idiot who sold me the switchbacks sold me defective ones. They're supposed to stay white and flash amber. Well, they stay amber and flash white. I got a picture of it and I'll post it tomorrow.
I also got a Mishimoto decal in for my hoses and I went ahead and put that on. I'll try and remember to get a picture of that also. I'm not sure if I want to keep the one I have where it is or get a smaller one and make it more subtle.
Edit: After thinking about it, I think the Mishimoto decal is coming off.

So, yesterday, I did some ziptie work on the front bumper since there was a gap in the fitment and it was bugging me. While I had the bumper off, I went ahead and installed the LED's, and the switchbacks + resistors. They're stupid bright, but the switchbacks were wired backwards (the wiring is right; the bulbs are right but wired wrong) so they flash the opposite color they're supposed to.
Here's pictures of that.

And then, today, when I was getting ready to leave for work, I started my car, it idled right for about 5 seconds, then it dropped rpm's and stalled out. I couldn't get it to start. So, I called my buddy, we diagnosed it over the phone, and then fixed the problem.
The ignition coil inside of the distributor went out, so I went and got a BWD one with a lifetime warranty from work. It runs great now.

Did some more work on the Integra today. I washed it, peeled some stickers off of it that were on there from the previous owner, cleaned off the sticker residue, and did some painting. I found a can of spray-on bedliner that I had bought for a project that I had never gotten around to doing and I found a can of semi-gloss clear, so I did this.

Taped and sanded.

Sprayed. Six light coats of bedliner and one coat of clear coat.

Finished product.

After the car and the paint dried. The lighting makes it look sloppy, but it actually looks really, really clean.

Overall, it was worth the effort. The main reason I did it is because, since I'll be using this car to transport my drumset from time to time, I wanted to protect the areas I could accidentally make contact with when loading the drumset from scratches or punctures. Plus, it gives it an aggressive look and a nice contrast.
It took me about an hour from start to finish. I got cooked like a lobster, too.

Okay. So, I've been thinking about where my money is going to go this paycheck, and I think I figured it out.

My car needs an oil change, so I'll be using Castrol GTX High Mileage 10W-30 and a Napa Platinum oil filter. When I do the oil change, I'll go ahead and install my BWR magnetic oil drain plug for the oil pan. The transmission oil drain plug will sit on my desk until I decide what to do with it.
I'm also going to order a Blox Racing 12" slim fan. When I go to install this, I'm going to pull my exhaust manifold shield off, re-paint it, replace the missing bolt, and re-install it. While the old fan and the exhaust manifold shield are off, I'm going to wrap any hoses/wiring/tubing, etc. en-route of the header and the slim fan with reflective heat tape to keep the heat down. Then, I'll put everything back together.
Since I'll have to go to the Honda dealer to get the bolt, I'll also try and pick up some p/s pump o-rings and a windshield reservoir fluid cap while I'm there.
Then, to round out the work for this paycheck, I'll be ordering two decals and an 'LS' emblem off of an '87 Integra.
Stay tuned. I'll be busy for a while.
After this check, my updates are going to slow down a lot. I need to start paying the car off.

I would use a k&n oil filter. It costs more but is good for 15k miles and its super heavy duty.
