You're color coding your car to match your friends' cars.....?

:rolf:
Yep. We drove to vegas once, and had an entire freeway to ourselves so we took up all three lanes and matched speeds for s***s and giggles.

A buddy has a red Eclipse, another has a Red Veloster, but at the time had a Red Genesis coupe.

Is the black teg yours?
Oh no. These are my tegs. Well the Green 94 is still mine. Just sold the '90 right now. So all I have left is my manual 94 which I'm going to start working on. The Red/Black and the Matte Black Tegs were to illustrate my first ideas for a color scheme. Interior, I still have yet to find a picture which translate to what I have in my head

Sell the BG33P to someone that will appreciate the color and buy a Milano Red Integra....

Only problem is this is currently my only daily driver as the DA was sold tonight. And Id rather not go through a ownership transfer again -.- I wont be repainting it yet, Vinyl or Plastidip exterior so I can keep the original paint.

That color needs to be preserved but not hidden like a monkey on a closet.

Buff that bitch and rock it. There's not one integra in my town with that color and it's disappointing.

Got vtec?
That's a beautiful color, why ruin it just to match your friends? Also for the interior, I assume yours is tan? I would suggest buying a black interior and just swapping it in. If you want red accents you could buy red seats, itr shift boot, armrest, they even make red door inserts. I've seen way too many painted and wrapped interiors and most of them look like ass. It'll look much nicer with a swapped interior than a painted one.

Let's just all assume that he hasn't seen Ryan's car yet to change his mind.

Oh no, Luckily not a tan interior. Black interior but the vinyls worn down from the sun from its previous owners, so I'd be reapplying new Black Vinyl. Door panels have a few cuts on them in the vinyl, so they are a needed reupholstering.

And the color match is for road trips. With a wrap or plastidip, I can switch out to my Original color. But right now, I don't have the money to have the clearcoat redone. Atleast not yet.

What about the adhesive trim kits? Or is there some kind or other wrap/material you can use on vinyl? I'm also thinking about redoing my interior, keeping the black but adding blue accents.

Who cares what color cars your friends have. No offense, but wanting to match your friends is so childish.

Well I also do like the red look. It's been a running joke in my social circle that everyone but me seems to have red cars. And in the end, if I'm happy with my car being red, isn't that what really matters? It's not going red JUST because my friends have red cars. I like how Integras look in Red, and it's a funny idea for myself and all my friends to match while on roadtrips

<3 thanks buddy........ No homo

OP, keep that color man and rock the green machine!

Oh god. I've seen Ryan's car. And now.....aw now I want to renew my paint because thats clean clean clean.....

But I still have my soft spot for Matte Integras and Red/Black color schemes. So torn right now....But I don't have the money to renew the paint on the teg right now. (Not going to repaint her. Chosen to wrap/plastidip so I can save the original paint for when I can afford to renew all the paint and clearcoat)

If you are just redoing the black vinyl, it would be much cheaper and easier to just find pieces that are in better condition and swap them out.

Went to my local pickapart. Couldnt find any black panels (hell barely any 3rd Gens) that were in good condition at all. I was going to replace the regular fabric aswell or put on red vinyl for the color scheme

You would have better luck on CL or forums I would imagine, maybe give that a shot. Then you can just do the door inserts, or buy the red Recaro fabric ones they make. Those look pretty good.

There's a company called DCA Garage that has a shit ton of different designs for door inserts. You just need to contact them directly to have them make it for you since they took them off their site. They still sell the red and blue Recaro ones through their eBay store though.
