Pictures aren't the best sorry :( but I did write down what colors connected to what.

This is what I got with the plugs connected:
Harness ---- o2 sensor
Green ---- grey
White ---- black
Yellow/black ---- white
Black/white ---- white

Hopefully that helps.

Nope, Didn't fix it :(

It's not running rich from the smell of the exhaust but it's still running rough, Damn... I know I can source this but I'm so tired.. And impatient.

I am not going to go back and read all the stuff you've posted since I last asked, but what degrees is this timed to? And Also what are the plugs gapped to. What plugs are you using too for that matter. Also, did you do a valve adjustment? What did you set the lash to if you did.

Valve lash 0.006 IN, 0.007 EX, Plug are recommended. Ngk's gapped at .052, Timing, I set the engine at tdc, lined up the cam gears and slapped the dizzy on (I know noobish), I know that will make it rough but if you go to my profile and click the gsr running issue thread there's a video of it running to give you an idea, I tried twisting the dizzy to see if it changed and it did but not a lot, I also popped the plugs off one by one and that also seems to change it BUT I unplugged the map sensor and nothing changed so I'm suspicious about that.

How confident are you that you got them all even and none of the valves loosened up? You also need to get a timing light to set the timing properly, otherwise it'll never be 100% smooth. I will also look at the video later

I tightened them down pretty tight to where the feeler gauge would slide with a reasonable amount of resistance after the lock nut was torqued to spec and triple checked all of them before putting th valve cover on, I have a timing light I just haven't set it because I was just planning on that being like a final touch.

Id check the timing. That may give you a better idea of how to go about solving the issue. I should probly watch the video too when I get some time.

Kurt did you ever check and see if you were throwing that code for the misfire? are you using your old plugs?

R13

The other asshole
No misfire code and they plugs are a couple months old but I cleaned and checked them before putting them in, I'm going to go over everything and make sure nothings hooked up wrong, Being that the Map sensor didn't change anything plugged in or unplugged I feel I may have plugged in the wrong socket, We'll see...

R13 still trying to hide he threw a big cam in? Lol jk, I hope you can figure it out. My brain is like overloaded from all the research i've been doing for my build so I can't think of anything. Lol

I wish it was big cams haha, I've had about 4 people ask me what hp I was making because they thought I was building a drag car.

That spark plug gap is huge! Bring it down to .040, and you need to set the timing with a light and moving the dizzy! Post some pics of the plugs and I'll let you know if you mixed them up.
