Does your girlfriend/wife get mad when you talk about your car(s)?

So i don't know if its just me, or other people experience this too, but why do they get sooo mad when you talk about your love and passion for your car? Haha. Every time i ask my girlfriend what i should do next to the Teg, she gets all pissed off! Haha...she tells me "say one more thing about your damn car and watch what happens." I think its hilarious. But, when it comes to her car (99 civic ex, 2 door) she wants me to help her fix it all up. I just tell her what she tells me (the saying in the quote).

Anyone else go through this? Haha

My wife leaves me alone when it comes to it. It's not her type of thing so it's not much of a conversation between us. She'll listen when I talk about it but doesn't really care :lol:

If your girl gets pissed, you need to set her straight or give her the boot.

My wife and I both had Integras when we met, she was happy to have someone to work on it.

She likes cars and doesn't care about me talking about them, even comes to the races. However she gets really pissed when I spend money on them that I should be using for other stuff lol.

I'm a loner when it comes to cars, I can think clearer and work faster alone, To anwers the question though, No, Mostly because I rarely mention cars to my gf, She's interested in what I'm doing with it but I don't say much about it, Although I did give her a lesson on what vtec is when I had the head off and she enjoyed that which is cool :lol:

My wife enjoys some of my car chatter on occasion but doesn't care to comprehend all of it. Still love the hell out of her the same.

my gf is pretty good at humoring, and makes a point to at least learn what I'm talking about, but she isn't a fan of it when I'm around my friends since we're all pretty obsessive about cars in general

My gf doesn't know crap about cars. If I talk to her about cars, it's like I just spoke to her in another language. I still love her though :)

My girlfriend just sits quietly when I talk about it, pretending she understands it all. But then I realize what's happening and stop talking, and start talking about what she wants to talk about. She helps me make all my parts decisions though! Especially the ones that involve choosing a color..
