Does your girlfriend/wife get mad when you talk about your car(s)?

Just mine. She likes to do this weird thing where she acts like she's looking at photos I've taken, but in reality she's looking for any photo of her in there to delete because she has that "fat girl complex" and think every photo of her is unflattering.

My girlfriend is fairly eager to listen to me talk about it and says she wants to help work on it, but at the same time she gets very jealous of my car. Anytime I call my car "her" or "Mia" she gets jealous and usually says something along the lines of "it's just a car, it's not a girl or her." I guess it depends on her mood, but she's usually good with it.

I mean dont get me wrong, i love my girl to death, but she gets mad when i buy parts instead of buying her stuff....lol! I dont give a s*** what she says though...I'm.not guna quit my passion on cars, just to make her happy. She hates when i talk about my car though. For some odd reason, it irritates her. Haha

my last 2 girlfriends made attempts at learning cars, the first one was horrible and at it and then my latest just tried to hard to impress me with car stuff and it actually irritated me haha I figured I would love having a girlfriend that's into cars but I think I just need one that supports my building my car but doesn't care to much about it lol

Haha...im trying to get her to get her hands dirty, but she doesn't want to learn. She just gets pissed

My girlfriend tells me she wants to know more about them so I offer to teach her an oil change. She replies with "that's what I have you for."
