Brz/fr-s vs. Itr

There will never be an Integra replacement. I'm sure a lot of members here will agree with that statement.

It will interesting to see what this Q30 turns into, but considering the FRS is 25k and the BRZ is 27k, I just don't see Infiniti being cheaper than that.

meh, The integra was a luxury version of the civic with a bigger motor. The ITR was the only one in the entire range that "defined" the integra IMO. All the rest of them are a nicer civic.

But what the Integra was, was a car that was affordable, and easy to modify, and was an entry level luxury car, and it isnt too bad at cornering stock. The Q30 can be the same.

So what is the non-luxury version of the Q30? It doesn't follow the same formula. I know the Integra was a step up from the Civic in every way but calling it luxury is a little far-fetched. I think it was classified luxury because it was in a luxury brand.

Don't get me wrong, I like the fact that this model is going to be made by Infiniti with the help of Vettel, just don't see the comparison. Everything Infiniti has put out is luxury, the Integra, maybe it's semi-luxury.

thats where its from lol

But maybe the sentra SE-R or something maybe?
Yeah, I was looking through that article. Good stuff. I think the FRS/BRZ project has made other manufacturers to look into similar cars. I know there are rumors of a Silvia/240sx replacement from Nissan, this would be cool. If that were to happen, it's only a matter of time before Honda comes back out with sometime similar. Honda could not have Toyota and Nissan taking all the market share from a particular model. I think think that might light a fire under Honda's ass about performance vehicles again.

It'll still be slower than the 98. Just like the rest. They just make the new cars so heavy.

ITR weighs just under 2600 pounds curb weight, BRZ Premium weight 2,760 pounds curb weight. not a huge difference! (with all 340895730498 air bags) I AM getting a BRZ, It's already ordered and paid for, ect. But I just wanted you all's opinions, especially since I know the ins and outs of the integra world. How much have you guys read into the BRZ/FR-S? Have you seen the crawford tuned BRZ? They're wicked. I enjoy reading all the responses you guys have!

you'd really want one? I can tell you this right off the bat. Those ugly wheels will be plastidipped white. Then after that? the first 3 years will have intake/header/exhaust and the STI springs. Other than that? It will be very dull. I've grown up a bit, an I guess I just want to preserve my investment and not go off the deep end. I have a life to provide for as well haha

I would say they're not comparable to each other at all in the suspension department. I've driven an ITR and a BRZ/FRS and they both have a completely different feel in terms of handling. I felt more in control with the ITR than the BRZ/FRS. The BRZ/FRS is a very nice car though.

Good choice going with the Subaru badge. Scion's name just doesn't really match with the car in my opinion.

I'd get an ITR before BRZ/FRS. I have a friend with a 2013 FRS and he said it's just not worth the payments etc. He'd rather have a EG civic and build it.

Edit: I should have mentioned he does have a eg civic and he is building, And selling the frs... Lol His EG will be fast as fck too. I've seen the motor going in it in person and lets just say 700whp-800whp minimum
