What is this? (an aftermarket installation)

Hey guys, I bought my 95 integra and it had this switch and wiring setup and I am not sure what it controls. I am hoping one of you may be familiar with this.

This is the switch by the hand brake, I just lifted out the panel. I don't know what this switch does:

This is the view from under the panel:

The Blue cable runs under the panel to under the front passenger leg area:

A 2nd blue wire is shown(I cant see where this comes from), the black cable is the same as the blues one coming from the switch, just wrapped in a protective loom:

I followed the cables to under the hood where the HIDs are installed, it ls connected to this:

Finally all the cables lead to this, looks like a small fuse box:

I don't know what this switch does. On a side note, I have aftermarket fog lights installed but they don't work. I wonder if this is tied to the fog lights.

Yup, rip out that wiring and re-do it. Wire is cheap, the work just takes time to do it correctly.

My job is clean toilets
I have the same button in the same location, but I don't have a fog light. Maybe the PO took it out?

Yep, Unless someone ghetto rigged a fog switch to do something else.
I think they just ghetto rigged a fog switch to do its intended duty and failed..
and that "fuse box" looking thing is a relay. If all the wiring appears good as you said, test and or replace the relay. If it was me id tear that hack job out and rewire it myself tho..
