i have a question...if i dont get too much commentary up in here i might just start a new thread. but since this B16 trans, running at these higher revs...my car is burning oil astronomically fast like WOW!!!! at one point i was 3qts down and didnt know it..now i'm cautious. i normally run around 70 mph..which is average 4K rpm. any input?

Sketchy..... did all the seals get inspected while the tranny was out? And visible oil leaks or smoke?

no oil leaks aside from teh normal seepage i had from the oil pan gasket prior to the tranny failure. it's not smoking, but it does have the normal black soot on the bumper. i'm sure it's because of running higher RPMS...whatever problems were there before are more prevalant. before the trans swap i only added one quart like 1k miles before the oil change...now...i'm sure i've put in 6qts already and my oil change still isnt due (3K oil changes)

i'm considering adding lucas oil stabilizer to my oil change routine and hope that it stabilizes oil usage
