It was actually at normal temp. I had it running for a while after the oil change, had to move cars around, then did it. And the mobil 1 was a lot worse. I had a friend stand behind the car this morning and I gave it a nice rev and he said it was blowing black smoke with the mobil 1 in it.

Thanks. The one thing that drives me nuts is that my exhaust was clean this morning. Now its black and so is my rear bumper. Its drives me absolutely nuts.

Sounds like a head gasket to me.

Black smoke wound indicate fuel , HG would be white smoke .

Idk. I'l get it figured out some time. Car still runs strong.
If it still runs strong, I'd get some of that rubberized spray stuff (it's used in Hot Rod's Roadkill in the Cop Car Battle if you want to see what I'm talking about) in black and coat the rear bumper with it. It's easily removable and doesn't mess up the paint. Then, just drive it until the motor blows. That way, you'll have time to save money and look for a good B18 or B20 to buy or build.

Thats a good idea, but I normally just wash it off. It comes right off and you can't see it on the bumper from far away. Just up close. It annoys me because I know its there.
