so much fail in this thread. Why would you ask serious questions reguarding a k series motor on this forum? You're gonna get much better and more detailed answers on places like Club Civic or Honda Tech.

20-30k in a Civic that already cost 22k new? I'm sorry, but that's just crazy. In the end he's going to be 40k+ into it and still just be driving a Civic that will, with a lot of luck, resale for factory MSRP.

If I were to have money like that to spend on a Honda, I'd have to buy and mod an NSX, regardless of mileage.

If you need k-series help, I can help you. Send me the car, 20k, and a 30 pack of beer and I'll make your civic 505hp, with $3000 seats, and a built-in kegorator so the party never stops. I'm a distant cousin of Xzibit, just so you know I can make this happen.

The black one is exactly what I mean. But I've seen them go for as little as 15k with minor mods and have around 100k miles.

ok now its not my car and why does anyone build a brand new car into a race car???? The 9th gen is Still a brand new car and Engine setup that hasnt really been fucked with (First FULLRACE kit on East coast) Its not my money and its not my car.... The kid im dealing with has an M6 so money is really not an issue. and for the NSX comment, if it was me Yes i would get one but im 6'6" and i barely fit! I appreciate you telling me to go to the civic site for answers but i drive an integra and i didnt think the people on here would have such a hard time helping rathing than hating.....

As soon as the project us fully underway ill post a build thread and you guys can hate

Does it matter whos money it is??? And why is it you think he wants to look cool in a car community??? What he wants to impress you???? So people like you could hate on him for being in a good situation and building a car to the point most people cant...... Building to impress? thats a joke right??? you build your car to look bad?

Again, parts are being calculated and then we are ordering on sunday, Look for the build thread coming as soon as parts are shipped
