No experience with the d3100 but I have the d3000 and I don't mind not having video. Also the d3000 is super cheap. For a noob like me the camera is great. I pretty much always use auto setting and pictures usually turn out pretty wellI'm planning on getting a dslr sometime this year and was looking towards the Nikon d3100 because it has video capabilities without the 1k price tag, Anyone have experience with it? Any recommendations of what to get with it to start off and possibly a raw video sample?
I wanna take it to the track when I get an mx bike and shoot/film.
Thanks bro. I change settings a lot throughout the day when I shoot photos. Thank god the shooting settings are written into the image properties and Flickr identifies it lol.My 2 favorites out of that lot but theyre all pretty good. I forget, are you shooting wide aperature for most of those? There whole image is so sharp.
I shot video with it before and thought it produced great results. It's a great camera to learn on and you can find it for as low as $300 nowI'm planning on getting a dslr sometime this year and was looking towards the Nikon d3100 because it has video capabilities without the 1k price tag, Anyone have experience with it? :thumbs up I sold it and bought my dad's d600 camera kit. He was stubborn about selling it to me because he wanted to keep it, but he hardly used it (only twice).Joe used it for a long time most things he post are taken with it
Not sure what he uses now
