Just make sure you use high heat paint. The first time I did the cover I used some cheap primer and blue duplicolor metalcast paint and it stayed on great until I messed the paint up chiseling away the old bolts on the cover. This time I used the same primer, metalcast base coat ( which gives it the anodized look), and metalcast blue.

Okay. Thanks.

No problem. I have the pwjdm cam seal too. It all looks good and there are no leaks yet. It'll be a year next friday.

Awesome sauce. I mainly like the PW:JDM cam seals because they aren't made of rubber, so they can't slowly but gradually get eaten away, lol. I'd imagine it isn't a hard swap, either?

Had some nice weather today so I washed the car. Idk what I did, but that bitch shines like brand new. People always say howclean my car is.

Just spent the past 2.5 hours sanding one of my wheels.

Well it could be anywhere from 2 weeks to months before they get put on the car. It all depends on the amount of hours I get at work. Sometimes I work 30 hours a week on top of school.

Tell me something I don't know, lol. My car has been sitting unmodified for several weeks now and I'm starting to get the bug again. It's aggravating not being able to do anything with it.

Yeah. The only reason I'm getting stuff done is because of spring break this week. Today was my last day off work for the week. The wheels probably won't get touched again until saturday.

I feel your pain. I can't really do anything with my car until I get smaller wheels. They are starting to strain my suspension a little bit, and I'm getting tired of rubbing the fender liners on bumps I used to be able to take at 60+ with my old wheel/tire setup. My mom is being really generous and giving me $100 to try and find some wheels from a pick-a-part lot tomorrow. If that works out, hopefully I'll be able to get some headway on my car when work provides.

You could take the fender liners out until you get smaller wheels. It should help with rubbing.

I thought about it, but my dad doesn't want me to, so I don't have much of a choice. I can still drive around my normal routine without rubbing, but I have to seriously be careful on which roads I take.
