Only 2 of the wheels came with tires, but they're bald so thats why I need tires. Thanks. I'm actually getting ready to strip the clear coat off of them when it warms up a bit.
Got another wheel stripped today. I have 1 left to strip. After school tomorrow, I am going to get my paycheck, primer, paint, more aircraft remover, and some sandpaper, and depending on how much I spend, some polish to finish up the wheels.
How hard is it to pull the valve cover and paint it? Mine needs to get refinished pretty bad, but it's my daily, so I can't really have it down for more than 24 hrs.
Its super easy. Just take off the plug wires, undo all the bolts (7 total I think), undo whatever the thing on the top middle of the cover is, undo the breather hose for the intake and pull the cover off. It took me 5 minutes to get the cover off which includes looking for all my tools. I painted and reinstalled the cover today in about an hour and a half.
Did you have to heat treat it? If so, what all does that include?
I don't have the cash to do it right now. If I do it, I'm going to do the cam seal, washer kit, and gasket just to be on the safe side.
