Installed some ddmtuning lights

but could sale a clean set of 98+ headlights for a good price and wouldnt hurt so bad haha. just save little by little. enjoy the ddm's you have till you can afford a retro, thats what i did

That's what I did too, and holy crap...the retro is SO worth it.







I thought the hids in my stock housings were great...then I dared to go retro. NEVER going back. It's well worth the investment.

Dont worry im not pushing the sale on you just informing you of the options. Retros are not cheap but they are the best. Price ranges do vary however depending on the setup.

You said youre local to them so you could just go back and say they look very green/bluish for a 6k. Dont see them giving you a hard time swapping them. The projector could play a part if the reflectors are worn and the (projector) lens is dirty from the inside. Mostly a worn projector will display low light output and yours dont appear that way. Try cleaning up the headlight lens covers but consider that the bulbs might be wrong.

@thecrimsonstar those look clean ! Yeah I plan for it soon I'm just caught up on getting my camber kit installed along with an Allignment at the moment .

@nemesiscbr I know you're not lol . It's just tempting af though haha . &yeah I went back picked up some 5000k ones &once I installed I look far more closely and realized the lens cover is pretty dirty . Next up is to clean them &see if light output has increased . Def not a blue hint anymore . As far as bulbs they're 9006 . Isn't that stock ?

Hey as far as adjusting I noticed the one spiral near the high beam but the spiral near the low beam bottom section . Which one do I adjust for vertical again ? Also the one near the high beam isn't accessible on my driver side . Any ideas ?

9006 is just the base of the bulb. Vertical adjustment is the middle one. It's accessed by screwdriver. You'll notice a sort of slot that guides you in. It's accessed this way.

Your ballast is in the way. It's below the leveling. You go in at an angle with the screwdriver. For future reference the too left you go in straight down. There's a hole for access

Did one full rotation under the ballast wheel to the left and right and didn't see a change . Is it the housing or am I just mental ?lol

One rotation won't yield much if anything. You have to turn A LOT.

Yea turn the bitch. If you get nothing out of constant turning then its unthreaded, stripped or all the way in

Lmao , a 3rd party salesman I see ! I really do its just really shtty that I don't have the $ for it atm . New camber kits going on the 5th and an allignment .
I'll attempt it again tmrw night tho . Went for a drive running some late night errands lights look a lot more white ! 5000k is what I needed . Once I get the lens restore kit I'll see how the output is .

looks good man. Just aim them so the hot spot doesn't blind people. I hope that's just the camera making it look so blue though. If not, I'd ask for 4300k or 5000k

I might be in sad Diego Saturday. Idk what time if I do go down. Might be able to give a hand if I do go down but won't be with my car sadly.

That looks better. Cleaning them up should help.

Retros are pending sale. :mrgreen: You better believe, anyone who has retros is gonna tell you to get some.
