Lol yea you were mistake about the discussion.

All this shield talk... I want a fuckin shield but I don't want to disassemble again. Especially since I just put one together, removed from my car twice and just sealed mine back up. That would hav been the best time to remove the shield and I should have done it. I've decided to try it though cus I might need to open up my passenger side. I got some serious prism effect going in right now. Lol. I successfully close the squirrel finder on the driver side but the other must be crooked. Ill post a photo later.

Peara save me work and find the shield! I might just mount mine lower if I get lazy.

Lol I'm looking for them buddy. I seriously thought you have a custom shield. Really makes me regret not staying until it was dark so we could take a picture of the difference with having a custom curve or not.

I have everything ready to start making, just need that shield haha. If you can't find it I just may buy a set for 5 bucks plus shipping.

Haha yea there was a lot I forgot that day too like checking out your twm shifter.

The first time around I did begin an attempt to lower the cutoff shield for more light output but didn't go through with it. Might try it again.

Want a custom shield to go with its may be able to help :p jk, I got to see if I can even do it. Tom if I cover gas would you still be down to drive down? I have to first fix a bolt I broke like a dumbass

I dont see the shield being too difficult to do. If i had the template id already have one made to throw in cus one of my shields is a bit retarded anyway. I dont know if its the lens cover or what. Gotta decide how many times i feel like removing and opening the headlights... might pull the shield myself for a template or wait to do it all in one day. I dont see it going well without a garage for light/dark testing environment and work space.

Im down to drive but its not as cost friendly as the tech day. Its about a 4 gallon round trip. I suppose it would cost you the same to come up here lol. We need a rentagarage.

Did youre restoration kit come with a sealant?

Do you guys wanna pay to ship it? Not sure how much it costs but shouldn't be much as all.

Take a picture of your retro using certain settings Tom. I'll go out on Friday and use the same settings.
