Retrofit a g3

Which stock projectors? The integra or the one that nemesis used from a Mercedes?

I know ours isn't but I think the Mercedes that nemesis has are meant for hids or else it wouldn't have a cutoff shield.

Lol we all know that the integra projectors aren't made for hids that's why everyone in this thread has a retrofit or on their way to having one :D

Actually they both have cutoff shields. :p

I think you mean a bixenon solenoid that moves the cutoff shield out of the way for the highs? Or am I totally wrong on this and making myself sound stupid? Lol

LoL I think he got mixed up somewhere. We arent talking about the stock integra shields and it doesnt have anything to do with a projector being hid anyway. We're hoping peara has the stock shields from his lexus projectors. Other than that i dont know what he was pointing out stock projectors not being hid for.

I could have went retro hi's but dont actually like the quad projector look and isnt opportune for me when i can sell the extra set instead.

You can stop calling it a curve cus theres no curve in a cut off anyway. lol Doesnt bother me. Its a cutoff design ive been familiar with for years but you only see them on a few cars. Does it shine on cars to the right of me? Yes. Will it blind them? No. Light withers the farther from the center so its not the full power of the beam and those cars are unlikely to be looking directly at them anyway. These are also only on my car for road testing. Theyve already been removed and put up for sale.

Ahh ok, I didn't see that he carried on his response from your previous conversation with him lol. I was wondering why he brought up that the integra projectors aren't hid projectors.

Integra projectors will glare if you put hids in them, therefore not meant for hids.

Im more familiar with the "stair step" cut off, i mean ive seen the "curve" cut off but i dont think its proper? Idk

Oh gosh dude, nemesis and I already pointed out that we weren't talking about the stock integra projectors in the first place. We know they are halogen projectors, not hid. I said that we all have a retrofit, so when we say stock shield, we mean the stock cut off shield from the Lexus rx330 afs projectors.

Just become a member on hidplanet.com they will help a lot on understand, as will bugging nemesis enough(that's what I do).

As long as it's informative. There's so many glitches/mods that can go into a retrofit that will make your output better or worse and the people on Hidplanet and retrofitsource keeps experimenting and finding newer/better/cheaper alternatives lol. I love it.
