Got dat Mugen shift knob in today! Fresh from the Honda U.S.A. dealer!

If anyone could suggest an idea as to how to get the shift boot to connect with the knob it'd be appreciated. Right now its not long enough to stay connected in 2nd, 4th, and reverse...

Should just fit under the the shift knob and hold the boot.

PasswordJDM sells the OEM one from the FD2 that's supposed to fit Integra's, but it's $60.... I'd take a chance on the $12 one first.

Well this is what I want (can be done via ziptie)

This is as far as the boot goes when in 2,4,R. Also my shifter is screwed up from the previous knob...

Oh, I get what you're saying. That sucks. Mine is a little below that. Just figure out the highest it will go without ripping or stretching is your only real option with this boot

My first plan was to chop my shifter down to lower the knob, but then I was like "blasphemy! the ITR shifter is perfect!"

My second plan was to get a new shift boot. I'm sure a tailor can make one if I provide material and dimensions. Or isn't there a guy who sells replica boots on this site? But that entails replacing my glorious OEM R shift boot...

Shorter shifters aren't good for your transmission, and if you cut your stock shifter, I'll fuck your face with a rock, lol
